With the help of several very wonderful people I’ve managed to come up with a basic idea of what Deadly Challenge will be about. I have been working on the doujinshi despite my horrid friends interference and their insistence that I get some "rest" taking away from my progress with Free Game.
And sorry for the lack of summaries and the like here. Helium, who dropped by for a moment before zooming of to goddess knows where again, told me to keep it a secret and surprise everybody. (I'm thinking of disobaying him though)
Those who don’t know, Helium is my fuzzy pink muse.[He’s currently missing, having decided to tour the world after the completion of The Hauntings, an Inuyasha M/F fic finished in May. He and Shippo miraculously escaped the collapse of the library and have avoided capture for several months. If spotted FedEx him back to me please? If I have him with me I’ll be writing like I was a year ago when I started these 40something stories.
And now to disobay my beloved muse and punish him for his cruelty to me and my readers i shall post the summary of Caine lup (Romanian for “Wolf”) coming in 2007. Just the idea so far, nothing really concrete yet, you can expect to see it in January.
When Inuyasha was a young boy living on the city streets the first thing he was taught was the harshness of life and the hopelessness that was love. His two bloodlines, no matter how noble, were worthless when mixed in the eyes of the people surrounding him. An opinion that neither changed nor hung about as time passed and he grew into a bitter adult. His poignant childhood, his hopes, dreams, and innocence were buried deep in his wounded heart and tattered memory for what he thought would be forever.
Then he discovers Shippo, a ten year old fox kit, half dead and asleep on his doorstep. His first thought is to rid himself of the filthy full-blooded child from a world who had never shone him pity, but his abused emotions once again take hold and he reluctantly shelters the fox.
At first Inuyasha doesn’t believe he’s capable of caring for this curious willful kit, but as he works to heal the boy’s neglected body, Shippo attempts to heal Inuyasha’s mistreated heart, and sets about the task of finding the perfect mate for his new big brother.
