Tiredness takes me over,
knowing I have to sleep.
If I stay up, I will die.
If I sleep, I will not survive.
Walking to my bedroom
like a prisoner to the dungeon.
Knowing of the torture to come,
with this endless night of terror.
With creaking of the bedroom door
and the shadows cascading over the floor,
terror sinks into my body,
and fear runs into my mind.
I creep to my bed,
as the feeling of being watched rises in me.
The sinister stares of furniture turned evil,
by the demons of the night.
While I lie down on my bed,
I push the fear from my mind.
Closing my eyes with deep regret,
Knowing that the terror is about to begin.
I slowly drift off to sleep,
as demons enter my mind.
Torturing my body,
attacking me from every where.
I cannot escape from them,
No matter what I do.
They rip at my clothes
and tear at my flesh.
A sudden jolt runs through my body.
Waking me from my horrible sleep,
saving me from another night of terror
