I had the strangest dream last night. This group of people and I were in a market square, there were lots of gnarly trees and little shrubs and greeneries all around us, The buildings that encircled the square had a 18th century french look. The streets were paved with faded red brick and next to us in the center of the square was a spiral staircase leading up into the sky. Suddenly, one of the woman died, and all the rest of the group moved on, leaving me behind with this dead woman. Without moving my lips I asked her, "why can't you get up?" she said, "I'm sorry, but I've died." Then I watched as her body faded away into a skeleton. Soon after a mourning song started to resonate out of the woman's skull. I listened to it and I asked her, "Why do you sing like that?" She said, "I'm saying goodbye, I'm not yet ready to move on." I listened some more to the song until it faded to nothing. Then I woke up.
