Rayana, The dark one

cloaked in shadow.
watching all of us,
She is the darkness.

She watches us,
Studying us all.
Learning from us,

She knows we're human,
But she's so much more.
A monster so beautiful,
So dark and so strange,
I want to meet her,
I must know her name.

Look, Here she comes.
so strange, so lovely,
She's looking right at me,
Oh, what a sight to see,
I wonder: would she dance with me?

seeing, learning,
knowing all."

They say she can see thoughts,
you know, read your mind,
I wonder, is she listening now?
Does she know I watch her,
as she stands all alone.

She's so beautiful,
so quiet, so neat,
She seems so sweet,
I think I'll stay,
I love how she sings.

She's looking this way,
she's looking at me,
Oh, I want to meet her,
she's smiling at me.

But that boy is with her,
he's watching her sing,
He sits near the stage,
as her fans crowd around,
he walks over,
and helps her down.

He's always here,
He watches the crowds,
he escorts her out.

I can't get close now,
Not while he's here,
but deep in my heart,
I know she holds him dear.

yesterday I heard the guitar player say,
"boy, her brother's protective today."
Brother... Hmmmmm.....
Maybe tonight, I'll get that song,
but then again, maybe I'm wrong.

Oh man, I just blew it!

He's seen me coming,
he's walking this way,
I'd better get going....

He's smiling at me!
He's called me over,
he's waving his hand.

She's watching us both,
a strange look on her face,
She's reading my thoughs,
looking around, a faint smile on her face.

wondering if she
should jump into it..."

I'm so close now,

I'm just feet away,
from this boy dressed in black.

She's smiling at me!
She's said that she'll do it,

I'd thought that I blew it.

She's asked me to stay,
she wants my opinion,
see, there's this song,
a new one she's written.

She wants me to hear it,
she says I have a good ear,
for songs, I mean.
For her, though, I'd do anything.

"She sits in the corner,
