The vampire curse.
When the Hart family sires another from the family that cursed them, hten the curse will be broken, the curse effects, every child. The curse causes each born child to inherit a vampieric gene, turning them into a low level vampire. They must me sired or they shall perish. It is passed onto the children until the curse is broken by one of the Hart's sireing a person in the same bloodline of the person that had origionally cursed the family.
How the conflict of families started
the story-Long ago, ther ewere 2 powerful soldiers Hart and Zarthen One day a powerful sword of great destruction was split in half due to it's power and each half was given to each family to protect form it's other half from ever joining. But Zarthen wanted it's power away form the Harts and stabbed Hart causing the split/ angel effect of occure because of the swords power. Before Hart could be killed he sent the other half into hiding so that only the Hart family could find it. To this day the Hart family gaurds the blade. But before Hart took his last breath he cursed Zarthenwith the terrible longing for the blade.
Now both families inherit the curse naturally. They are both also cursed with unnaturally long lives, another side effect of a curse Hart used. So they both suffer from their family curses longer.
the curse- Hart- they will have 2 personalities for each side of their heart. One good and the other evil. Men will constantly struggle with their other half until the day they die.The women will only turn once every 10 years when thier power is the weakest. But other than that the women can also choose to turn if they wish.
Zarthen- Always looking for hte other half of the blade.
both- If they are to wed. The bride and goom must have both sides blessings or they shall kill each other on their wedding night. Hart and Zarthen are the only ones that can kill each other if they are blessed with immortality or their naturally long lives.
Jayces Curse
Jayce died a while ago and was brought back by rain. But he houses a great and deadly force. Only a Hart's darker half can unleash. If it is unleashed Jayce will become a dark magic user and will think nothing of killing.
Tears of Ice-
A curse that happens to ice aparition races. It causes their tears to turn into crystals when not touching their skin. These crystals are of incredible value and sought after. Many aparitons have been tourtured to get these gems.
They are a beautiful silvery blue in color and each one is perfectly in the shape of a shepere or a teardrop.
This also causes their eyes to change to a mercury blue or purple color when upset. Ususlly apariton children are taught to controle their emotions to prevent this power from being known and used by dealers.
secret/ true names
these names are kept secret to anyone but family. they are given to all elves and some other races. These names hold all of the creatures power and if the name falls into the wrong hands, the person can have complete controle over the individual.
Resurections
To bring a spirit back form the spirit relm, then the spirit is combined with some form of natural life escence blood for example and then is reincarnated in a body that is a very close if not exact resemblance of the person before they died...Usually performed by a high mage or a necromancer.
