That Little Snowflake
By Regan Shannon
That one snowflake drifting through the air
It's end has come and nothing can stop it
Open your eyes watching the white blazing across the field
Joy and happiness and nothing else
That one snowflake drifting through the air
Is reaching the ground to simple melt away
The winter wears on, wearing us out
Killing and freezing, boring to the heart
That one snowflake drifting through the air
The sun does not come as joy is all gone
We want it to reach the ground and melt away far away
There is nothing left for us
That one snowflake drifting through the air
The light has come, we see the love...
The snowflake has reached the ground and melted away
Just as life will do to you someday
