Chapter 7:

It was raining and raining at a strong rate. The leafs had fallen off their tree’s and the temperature was dropping. The people of the leaf village were wearing winter suites except kia; kia was wearing his normal every day outfit. T-shirt a camouflage pants with his headband on his forehead supporting his fire red hair. When ever or where ever he went people looked at him with the look of “put on something or you’ll get sick” but the himashin never were affected by the cold.

Today team seven was to meet their sensei in doors since the weather was cold. Kia was the first to arrive and sensei was at the meeting spot first for once. “sensei? What are you doing here so early? You are always late” kia asked as he walked up to sensei. “the weather messes with my jutsus, being a electrical user my attacks get less powerful in cold weather. But your attacks get stronger don’t they kia? I know all about your back round and I’m surprise you haven’t traded in your kunai for needles” sensei was being weird, he kept to himself and never talked a lot unless he was explaining a mission. “why would I trade in my kunai for needles?” asked kia “the himashin are stronger with needles than kunai, in fact; the himashin make ice needles to attack, I’ll show you how to use it but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do it” “I can do just you wait!” “good then stay with me after the mission, but it’s a rank A attack so its powerful and only the himashins can use it to its full power” at that moment miharu opened the door “its too cold out there” said miharu and was shocked at what kia was wearing “AREN’T YOU COLD?” “no… should I?” and one by one the rest of the team came and asked kia the same question and kia gave them the same answer.

“well now that the whole team is here I guess I can tell you what we’re doing today” sensei said once everyone arrived “today we are cleaning a statue that remember the death of the people who died in the 3rd ninja war. Many of the ninjas who died are buried there” the whole team knew about the 3rd ninja war and a few of the team were honored the others weren’t. when the team reached the statue it was made of a few ninjas and what looked to be one of the kages but it was dirty and sensei wouldn’t say what kage it was. Everyone was getting a weird feeling from the area but no one would say anything they thought it was just the weather. “you go clean it first” “no you go clean it” soon team seven had broken out into a arguing group. Kia sighed and started to walked toward the statue but then he got a bit nervous and he threw a kunai at it. The kunai hit the statue but it hit statue and bounced off and the people who saw slapped their foreheads and sighed. “ok I think its safe but I read in one of the text books that certain bombs will only go off if chakra come in contact with it could this be one of them or am I paranoid?” kia thought to himself as he took the rag and started to clean it. But the moment the rag touched the statue kia got a bad feeling and he jumped back just as it exploded, kia felt something as it blew up and fell to the ground being almost impossible to dodge a bomb at close range. “WHAT WAS THAT?” aj turned to look were he heard the explosion “good job kia you failed the mission already. Your paying for it” aj was pissed. “he’ll pay with it with his life” a person was in the cloud of smoke left behind from the bomb. He was wearing a red and black coat with red blades on it, on his back he had a red blade “the crimson blades? I thought they were a myth” said aj. “we’re no myth buddy and my first mission as a crimson blade it to take you all out!” the man in the coat said. “well then I’ve wanted to battle!” tai charged up to the man and faked a punch at his head and the man took a step back and tai hit the ground and the man fell to the ground “good job tai!” sakura shouted. “you brat!” the man said kia ran up to the man pulled out his ninja to, a katana like sword but sharper and more dangerous, then kia spotted it in one of the trees was a boy watching them “hey it’s the kid! The one from the last mission who took the girl!” kia shouted as he pointed to the tree he was hidden in. “on it!” sakura, miharu and seahawk ran after the boy who started to flee.

The man did a leg sweep and knocked kia and tai over but they got back up. The man jumped back up and then chakra started to surge from the man with the coat. This caught sensei’s attention “a curse seal? Huh I’ve never fought someone with a curse seal” sensei said as he got up. The man charged at tai and tai charged him “DRAGON STRIKE!” tai was using a taijutsu and aimed for his head the man caught the hand and then grabbed his face “what are you doing? I’m” tai said while trying to escape from the man grasp “shut up” a surge of chakra from his hand and black chakra covered his head and a loud scream could be heard then the man let go of tai and he fell to the ground with a curse on his forehead “you son of a” kia stabbed the man in the heart and pierced the curse seal’s defense and kill the man. “you never hurt my friend!” kia said blind with rage “heh, even if he can’t use nin or genjutsu we’ll need him” the man said some blood started to come from his mouth. “kia….. he was mine!” sensei was beside kia and he punched him to the ground “I wanted to kill him!!!” “wow sensei you ok? You sound like a kid” asked kia “just take tai to the hospital and I’ll get the others” kia nodded and sensei cased after the other.

Tai was burning up, when kia tried to pick up tai he burnt his hands. “he’s hot… I better cool him down” kia thought and he pulled out his water bottle and poured the water on him and it evaporated before it even touched his body “whoa!” kia picked up tai ignoring the pain and burned and ran to the village hospital. Once kia arrived at the hospital he dropped the floor “he has a curse seal! Help him!!!” kia said pointed at tai and shouted the person at the desk who had a confused look on her face. Kia sighed “can I talk to medical ninja team?” ask kia and a team of three medical ninjas came in “we’ll take it from here” and they grabbed tai and walked off
