chapter 8:

kia walked out of the hospital, the rain had stopped and sensei was waiting outside for kia with a pack in his hands "you owe me" senei threw the pack to kia and caught it. kia opened it up and saw it was full of throwing needles "guess you want my kunai huh?" ask kia "only if you don't need them" replied sensei "i may need them" said kia as he atteched his new pack to his belt. "if your ready then kia" sensei said as he walked off and kia caught up to him "will tai be ok? and where are you taking me?" asked kia. "i'm not sure, i've seen curse seals in action but never given to a person so i can't really say if he'll be ok. as for where we are going, we're going to the best place to train for you." after a hour or so kia and senei reached a clear area surrounded with trees and a large lake in the middle, the lake was spilling a little bit because of the weather. "ok kia, i can tell you how to do this but i can't show you" kia nodded and watched as sensei stepped on the water "oh right, i guess i have to teach you how to walk on water right?" kia gulped "i know how to on my own" "really lets see?" kia put his hands together and stepped on the water and fell in. sensei raised a eyebrow "i thought you could do it" "i can, its just been awhile since i've done it" kia stepped back on land and concentrated and took a step on the water and walk up to sensei "good. now what you do is concentrate your chakra to your feet and build up the pressure in your feet until they are about to explode. then you relsea all of your chakra in one blast. since your a himashin your chakra freezes water very easily so i don't have to teach you that" "sensei, before i try it, may i ask why are you training me?" asked kia. "the chuunin exams" "the what?" "the chuunin exams are in a few weeks and i want you to be the chuunin." "wait, hwy so soon, there have already been two chuunin exams this year" "yes kia, but we have been running low on chuunin and jounin. thats why your team is made up of so many people" sensei said. "but why me?" "have you seen what the others do? only you tai and miharu would be good chuunin, aj cares about himself and the others aren't all that good of ninja." these words brightened kia's face "don't worry i won't fail" kia said with a smile "good, now then if you can master this in one day, i'll arrange a water/ice specil jounin to over see your training, he'll do a much better job than me" sensei stepped away and kia concentrated and relsead his chakra in one blast, water went everywhere but didn't freeze. "darn it" "don't worry, i didn't exepct you to get it rid on the first try" kia kept trying and trying. it was about 5 minutes to midnight, sensei was still there "how much chakra do you have? you haven't stopped once" kia was breathing hard but he was ok 'it has to be this weather giving me so much power, i'm afraid of what will happen in the summer' kia thought to himself. kia closed his eyes "hey you know in five minutes you'll be training on your own right?" 'crap, i forgot if i can't do this i won't get proper training!'kia concentrated his chakra to his feet and relsead the chakra, the water flew up into the air and froze over forming needles made of ice hovering over kia "hey i did--" kia fell into the water and the ice needled flew at the water and melted. kia swam to shore "looks like you used up too much chakra" kia smiled "but i did it, so where is my trainer?" "right here" a man stepped out of the forest "you did it faster than i thought kia himashin. my name is Chikao, my last name is none of your business" said Chikao "its 'cuz you have a really lame name isn't it?" kia said with a goofy grin "no it is not. now come. i'm execpting this child to be of the highest chaliber from you" "don't worry Chikao i made sure that he was ready" Chikao grabbed kia and ran off.

team seven met in the same place as usal. "well team, it was nice working with you but i feel its time for you to move on." 'could this be the chuunin exams?' "you see i gave each of you trainer." sensei started a long speech about the chuunin exams and how one of you will be the leader of the team. tai was standing beside kia "hey how are you?" kia said in a low voice so he wouldn't be heard "i'm doing fine why?" asked tai "i was given a seal on my wrist and said it was just to improve your powers" kia showed tai the seal which looked kinda the anbu tatoo "funny i got the same one but upside down" kia looked at his seal. "huh" sensei finished his speech and pointed the group to where they would be taking the chuunin exam "tai, kia stay here i want to talk to you" sensei shouted "HAHA you two got busted!" aj laughed as he walked out the door, tai was ready to jump on aj and punch his brains out. "tai, kia, this was a order from your father; he said he wanted tai to have a seal placed on you. this seal allows one person to rule over the other. kia you were given the one to control tai. it seems that the ismaku clan's very first person gave up his will to the himashins and your father wanted this seal on tai as soon as he was knocked out. so you given this seal. now this is how the seal works: for one thing it is linked to your brain tai, if kia pokes it he won't feel anything but you will feel as if you were punched. if kia stabs himself in the seal he will not feel it but you tai will feel like your brains are being ripped out. now if you and kia are separated by within 3 miles tai is forcely pulled towards kia and nothing will get in your way, even if you fall. BUT! if kia is about to die you gain the powers of a kage to protect kia. now kia, if tai goes bad you will taught the words to kill tai. ok?" tai looked a bit shaken "you ok tai?" asked kia "yea i'm fine BUT THW POWERS OF A KAGE!! THATS AWSOME!!!" tai started to jump up and down "well good to see your all for it. now go to the chuunin exams and pass it"
"YES SIR!" kia and tai both said as they ran out the door to the chuunin exam
