Contemplations of POiSON~
It's just junk, really.
*an artist to be*
Okay. All this is is just a collab of (some of) my work. It serves no greater purpose than you see here.

1-[(pencil) sketch-book assignment: unmade bed]
-- This was just a dinky sketchbook assignment for art class. We were just supposed to draw an unmade bed and I thought mine would come out really horrible, but it actually turned out almost normal looking! ^^ *How'd that happen?* o.O (And since my doggy was in my bed at the time he got to be included in the drawing too! -well sorta.. his ears were all I could see hehe so adorable heart )

2-[abstract lamp and candle]
-- This was done unusually quickly for something of my own creation. Usually, I turn things in late but this thing took me about 1.5 class periods to think up and complete. (I average about a week on most of my projects for class.) I kind if did it on a whim I suppose, since our teacher gave no guidelines other than to draw something that she had on display. I am rather pleased with how it turned out, seeing how the actual objects I was referencing were absolutely dull and uninteresting...

3-[eh.. it is a tree] (click full view)
-- Before I made changes, it looked really dinky (the sunset). Now I am content with the bg, but I wish we didn't have to actually write on this one. Words in a picture just absolutely ruin the scene for me. I don't know about anyone else, but I think text takes away from the character of the picture itself... blah.
Anywho... this was yet another of my projects for art class. Theme "A Tree to Me..." Boring right? ABSOLUTELY! The only good metaphor I could come up with was the 'ticket to the stars' thing, but even that is rather dull. Still, to say the least, I had an interesting time coming up with it as this was a little out of my norm for drawings.

4-[cross]
-- This tribal-ish thing was not originally meant to be tribal-ish. It's just a cross I doodled up one day and sent the original to my church buddy. No real significance...

5-[emo-ish-dunno-what-it-is]
-- *points up at title of link* Though, I must say that a friend of mine did make an interesting observation about it. A snake, having been captured by the spider and strung into its webs, is dripping venom as its last resort of self-defense. (Okay that was not his excat description, but from memory, that is the best way I can think to summarize? Uhhhmmmm.. Dyllye, you may clarify if you like mrgreen )

6-[fairy-guy]
-- Something I drew at o' dark thirty when I couldn't sleep. I decided to experiment with fairy wings and ended up witha whole bloomin' fairy! Well, how do ya like that? xd

7-[pen sketch]
-- Meant to be a cross originally, but turned out more like, my dad called it, a dorgy (dor-jee) which was known to be a tool of self-defense for the poor folk way-back-when. I think weapons in the hands of the poor were banned, so they created a weapon that would be less suspicious, which resembled a holy object, the cross.

8-[mandala] (full view as well if you want to see the details a bit easier ^^)
-- My fave ^^ Few things have any significance to the drawing overall, but if you would like some incite, I'd be more than happy to BS something for your amusement. That's what I did for when we had to write a paragraph about the significance of each aspect of our mandalas, just made stuff up that sounded relevant enough. hehe I got bonus points ninja xd Okay, actually, some things did have some real significance, but to make it more interesting to the reader I changed some things up a bit... hm... anywho!

9-[dripping star?]
-- Basically, all this is is a product of boredom. Scribbling and such... no significance, really.

10-[scribble from middle school]
-- This, like #9, is one of the drawings I did in middle school, so yeah... kind of old, sorta. and you've probably noticed that they both have a similar focal point (the style of star). I sort of went through a phase with drawing those types of stars...lol That's about all I can say for this one I guess. Oh yeah, and that spot on the pic is a coffee stain stare How it got there, I have no idea, but it did and I can't really fix it, so you get to look at a spot. *woot* lol
