Meetings- Part 2 *rose*
Taran's POV

Taran left the Consolate Hall a few hours later. He was utterly exhausted, and wanted only to sleep. He made his way to the Healers' Guild, where he was told he could inquire on Rose's condition.

At the front desk, the fairy on duty asked him to wait while she checked. Drawing her wand on a clear screen behind her, she sent up for the information. Taran waited. A response came down- still in fairy language and almost impossible to decipher- but the fairy turned to him to tell him that it might be quite a while before any progress could be made, and she could have him called once there was more news. Taran nodded dejectedly, and headed back to the entrance.

A small smile crept onto his wearied face, though, as he noticed the fairy turned her attention away. He was not fluent in fairy language- not by the least! But he at least knew the alphabet and numerals. He knew Rose was on the 35th floor, room B. He opened the door to the stairwell, and walked up the stairs. Having entered off a bridge from the consolate, he was already on the 20th floor, so he only had 15 more to go. He walked on.

A bit later, Taran slipped into the 35th floor, in time to see the fairies leading another fairy into the first room. Taran hid nearby, to try to listen in, as he heard Rose's name a moment later.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 35th Floor
The Advanced Healers had put Rose in stasis once she had brought to them. Rose had been unconscious by then anyways, and this would stop or at least slow the progression of whatever was ailing her.
Quick scans had confirmed that besides the unbelievable blood-mixture of the girl, there was nothing wrong with her physically. The problem was purely mental.
Iry was the Cheif Healer on the planet, and had been working at another site. The Healers had called her in, though, and she had come.
Walking into Room A on the 35th floor, which was used primarily for planning and setup for Healing, Iry sat down on a chair as the Healing Fairies quickly arranged themselves before her, and began.
"Our patient is Blueaecids Rose, age unknown, but assumed to be around twenty, female, descended of fairy, angel, fox-neko, and demon in equal parts, and she is currently unconscious. Physical scans show no irregularities, as do first level mental scans. Her life force, however, is only at about 13%. She is currently under stasis, though we doubt it will do much but slow the deterioration."
Iry nodded, following along. The Healer explaining everything turned and lowered the darkness level on the window that connected Room A and Room B. Iry flew up a foot or two, until she had a clear view of the girl. Her eyes widened, and she chuckled a bit. All the eyes in the room trained back to her. Looking out at them, she shook her head slightly.
"Don't mis take me. I laugh not at the circumstances, but at the method. You did say she was part demon and part angel, did you not?" Iry asked the fairies. Many of them nodded, recalling just that.
"Did you not consider that a person with such a nature of bloods within herself could be a danger to herself, and to others? That maybe her parents knew of this and tried to take steps to prevent such a thing?"
Another round of nodding heads, this time much smaller.
"Then did you realize perhaps, that the device of this might be something simple, as to try to prevent complications?"
A few heads nodded uncertainly.
Iry smiled.
"It occurs to me, " Iry began, now in a lecturing tone, and no longer in one of questioning or of askance, "that this girl may have quite a few relatives who are in disagreement over her. I did read in the file that both of her parents are no longer living. That her gaurdianship was bestowed onto Dragon, who happens to be nearby. I would assume that this is in Rose's best interest, as any parties interested in custody of her would most likely try to scourge out the influence of the blood they are not associated with."
"However," Iry said, pausing again, "it does not seem she was saved from such an ordeal. In fact, I am almost certain that this is just what has occured."
A young Healer spoke quietly, but clearly.
"In speaking with the bot ANTIE-D to get background information, that seems very likely. But... how do we fix this?"
Iry's face became serious. "Although I can tell the method used to keep apart her bloods to ensure order, and I can tell that this is also the source of the mental malfunction, simply removing the forehead gem from Rose might kill her."
Many slow nods traveled around the group of fairies, and then they sat down at the table to come up with a plan.
note: the fairy language is much like chinese, in that there are simple characters for single letters and for numbers, but those are mostly used for spelling out names and simple listing. The rest of the language is quite complicated, with characters representing words and sometimes even whole phrases.
