A distant Star Part 2
It was 1 month since the last time that Pyron had seen any activity on any on-board scanning device.
1 year has past when Pyron and his mate Nova left the satellite in search for what happened to the Planet Pyrons sister planet.
When all else was lost and the mission was just about out of Hope and care, as the endurance of the crew was depleted Pyron made a shocking discovery.
There was a phase s**t in the area around certain areas where they have been. Previously interpreting these as distant solar flares and bleeding solar radiation they went back to their records and discovered that they Phase s**t was on the current path they were on.
Pyron’s Vessel was on direct path to an inhabited planet called Pilea (Pie-Lee-Ya)
Pilea’s a planet that’s headed into a new Boom. The inhabitants there have just discovered Diesel technology. The Pyronians headed into a close proximity and orbited the planet to in the opposite access of the moon that rotates the planet axes.
It was there that the Pyronians did their watching and research. With Advanced technology they monitored all that would make a planet killer actively seeking this planet. All test seem to lead to the same dead end.
Again as last time after another Year Pyron and his crew grew tired of this running around and at this point Pyron’s mate Nova called the mission to an end. Pyron and his crew agreed that this was over. They viewed this as an end and all packed up and set the coordinates to their home and that’s then tragedy struck.
Off the starboard side a Massive energy reading was erupting, too high for the ships sensors to comprehend.
The Mass of the this energy reading was too much for the ship to take as well as the research vessel was to small for such a ship to be close to. Setting Emergency procedures for a collision they advanced to a safe distance away from the energy that almost engulfed them.
With some small damage to the ship, the pilot ordered to Nova an immediate departure, report their finding, and save the crew. Nova Paused for a bit before making her decision and witness Pyron’s face. That pretty little face of his, a curious child, Nova had to fight her internal feelings for her mate and think for what is good for her people not her and Pyron.
Pyron was disturbed by this decision and would not no let it to rest. But then when Pyron looked into the long range devices he noticed that the massive energy was nothing more then a cloaking device. To what Pyron’s eyes beheld was a massive spherical object.
This Sphere was the size of a planet, with a perfect shinny surface. Massive energy rays ejected from the sphere and imprinted the planet and Pyron watched. He noticed that they Massive metal planet was about to send a device to the planet but before Pyron could see more they had left out of range.
Pyron was just to explain his findings to Nova and the others when he fell to his knees.
Stumbling to the bridge he noticed that the crew then selves where affected the same way he was. The Energy reading in the bridge was too high for any mortal to withstand.
Nova was on the brink of death and Pyron and Captain Cumb where the only 2 left conscious. Pyron and the Cap pulled Nova to the Emergency Escape pod. But Pyron was not do there. Instead of himself and nova, Pyron decided that Nova’s only hope was the captain. So Pyron shoved the captain and Nova into the pod and sent them home.
Pyron’s thought was that they would return for him and bury him with a hero’s fate not a cowards ending. Pyron sat at the doors almost given up and awaiting his end. But was energized to make it to the captains Chair and send his vessel into the Metal planet.
That’s when the voice boomed into Pyron’s head. Like a headack made be a blunt instrument the voice said “HOW DARE YOU APROCH ME!”, “FEEL WHAT IT IS TO STEP FORTH INTO THE AWESOME POWER THAT IS I”
