Chapter I
Stehanie's First Kiss
One cold and coludless night, a young girl named Stephanie was walking quietly through the woods, carrying a small bag. When she noticed some smoke raising in the near distance.Being a curious girl by nature, she went to see what was buring. The smoke was coming from a chimney that sat on the side of a little cabin that was old and in need of repair, whitch lay nested within the trees of the small forest. Once there, she was able to notice a young man standing inside, looking out of a small window. Although she was hidden by the shadows of the night, she knew his gaze had found her, and his eyes were watching her. Her heart raced in her chest as she saw him suddenly appear at the cabins front door, and start to approach her. Although she was frigtened, she could see that his face was warm and inviting. His eyes sparkled in the darkness, and his face was quite handsome. He then interduced himself, in a soft gentle voice. He said his name was Conner. In the same gentle voice he asked the young girl her name, and in a kind voice she replied, " My name is Stephanie". She saw that he was kind and gentle, and she felt safe with him as he invited her back to his cabin. Once there, Stephanie sat her bag down on the floor, and Conner offered her a warm beverage so that she may warm her insides and knock off the evenings cool chill. Stephanie acceped the warm drink, and the two sat talking quitely by the warming of the fire in the hearth. All to soon she realized she must go, and she could hear her mother caling her to the supper table. Conner rose as she placed the now empty mug on a nearby table. They looked into each others eyes as she thanked him for his kindness, and gazing once more at his handsomely rugged face, she quickly fled out the door and ran back down the dark path to her own familiar cabin. leaving her bag behinde on the floor. She went back to Conner's cabin the next day after school, but she noticed no movement around the cabin as she approached. Stephanie walked up to one of the cabins windows and peered inside. There she saw Conner lying asleep on a large wooden bed in one of the back rooms. Silently she opened the door and tip toed into the cabin, making sure she did not wake him She went to where she saw him laying asleep in his bedroom. She crossed the small room,and stood beside the sleeping young man. She looked down at him sleeping peacefully, thinking to herself that he looked so handsome, and her thoughts became one with her body. Gently she lowered herself down on his bed. Conner stirred slightly, but did not wake. Stephanie sat beside him and let her fingers stroke a lock of his hair. She slowly leaned down and softly pressed her lips to his. She let a soft gentle kiss flow from her lips to his. Much to her surprize he slowly opened his eyes. She looked into his eyes with a smile on her face, as she thought he would not have woke up just from her kissing him. He smiled softly at her as he said in a soft voice " I am glad you came back". She smiled, still a little shocked that the kiss that she gave him woke him up. She said she came back because her mother told her to so; to get the bag she had forgotten. She tols him that she would have come back anyway, just to see him once again. She blushed as she asked him in a soft kind voice what had wakened him up? Asking him if it was her kiss is what made him open his eyes? He smiled at her, and softly said that her kiss did wake him from his sleep, but he knew she would return anyway to retrive he bag. He softly touched her cheek as he looked deep into her eyes with a soft gentle smile on his lips, not wanting her to have to leave so soon, he asked if she was able to stay just a little longer. Soon after she left his house and went home, Stephanie decided to tell her mother about the handsome young man and his kindness to her. Stephanie's mother listened to her tell of the young man. After whitch her mother suggested that Stephanie invite him over for dinner? Stephanie's heart was full of happiness at her mother's suggestion. She wanted Conner to come to dinner, and her mind was thinking about this as she went up into her room and started her schoolwork. After she finished her schoolwork, she headed to bed Stephanie awoke later that night with a strange feeling something was watching her sleep from her balcony so she went to the balcony door and opened it to see Conner peering through the glass doors. She asked Conner what he is doing looking through her window and he replied in a soft voice, I just wanted to give you a kiss before I left but I was not sure if your mother would aprove of me kissing you so I thought I would come up here and knock on the door but you were already asleep so I did not want to wake you. He smiled at her his fangs showing as she walked to him and wraped her arms around his neck, he placed his hands on her waist lifting her gently, he pressed his lips to hers letting a soft loving kiss flow from his lips to hers, his and her eyes closing slowly as they share they're first passionate kiss. His fangs gently rake over her lower li[ as they-re lips partthey both open they're eyes with smiles playing across they're faces for they have enjoyed the kiss they shared. Conner slowly puts Stephanie's feet back on the ground, he bends down and gently tilts her head to one side, moving her haif from her neck Conner places a soft kiss upon her neck. Letting his fangs rake over her neck Conner slowly starts to nibble Stephanie's neck but does not sink his fangs for he is not sure if she would not fight him if he did so. He slowly his lips from her neck with a loving smile as he looked deep into her eyes falling ever deeper in love with Stephaniem Conner ran his fingers gently over her cheek beofre he slowly jumped back to the ground not wanting her to know he is able to fly. She looks down at him with a smile then remembers that she is on the third floor of the house her eyes widen seeing that he is not hurt, she sighs and thinks he still might be hurt and quietly walks down the stairs so not to wake her sister and mother up, she opens the front door to see Conner standing a few feet from it she runs to him and kneels in front of him. Are you okay Conner! She says in a soft caring voice as she slowly examines his legs and ankles. Her hands slowly make their way over his legs as she searches for any kind of bump or broken bone, a surprized look comes over her face when she finds nothing wrong with him. She stand to her feet once more, jumpping into Conners arms kissing his lips once more then goes back into her house with a soft caring smile on her face. </center>
