She was born as an early Christmas to Alisia Hendez and Tarek Camerone. They had assumed that their second child would be a boy and so had already selected the name. When she arrived the name stuck with her anyways. It was December 14th 1982 when she came into a world that was far from prepared for her wrath and danger.

Growing up her family was seemingly perfect. Before Aleks had come Lulu, the eldest daughter and a musician. After Aleks had come Suki, the final addition to the family. She adored cars and everything to do with them. Suki looked up to Aleks more then she did to Lulu and often tried to be just like her sister. Tarek was a leading scientist at the town’s university working on unknown projects to the family. Alisia worked hard as a SWAT officer for the Manhattan New York police task force. The three girls bonded and lived with each other often spending a lot of time on their own. Lulu was always singing or writing music. Aleks was always playing sports in the front or backyard with the family dog Spark and Lulu was always on the computer or playing video games. When Aleks turned thirteen everything in the family began to change. Their mother was home more often as well as their father. The horrid thing was that their parents couldn’t stop fighting. The house would always be filled with shouts and threats. Alisia had been threatening to leave with the girls for the longest time. On the day of Aleks' fourteenth birthday Alisia was gone. Aleks awoke to her father sitting at the kitchen table sobbing, something she had never seen her father do. So she screamed at him. Her words yelled at him as her face steamed with anger. Her cheeks became a rosy pink and her eyes flushed out their tears of frustration. She yelled and she yelled at him until her throat was raw. Aleks pointed the blame on their father that day and never forgave him. He had driven their mother out of their house.

The police force and everyone that was a friend of the family searched for their mother. However their looking found nothing and so was called off a week later. Aleks then left. She ran away as far as she could not understanding quite why she was even going. She had with her a backpack of personal belongings and a soccer ball signed by some pro-athlete she’d met when she was ten. No one ever found her because she chose to hide out in the garage of one of Lulu’s ex-boyfriends. He hid her well, pitying the girl. His name was David and he loved Aleks like a sister. Besides, she helped him out at the shop when he needed it. During the day the garage was just an ordinary car shop but at night it became lively as David organized several street racing events per month. High stakes races they called it. Aleks had been with him for a year when he was busted by the cops. They took Aleks recognizing her as a missing persons. When they hunted for her father they didn’t find anyone and neither of her two sisters had known locations. The family had simply faded away, each member taking a different direction. So they sent her to the only family she had left. Her grand-father was living in Rome Italy.

At fifteen she was shoved onto a plane and told to not run off. She was accompanied by a police officer, a former friend of her mothers. Aleks still remembers the flight because the man had looked at her with extreme pity for the entire duration.

When she arrived at her grand-fathers she didn’t expect what she found. He wasn’t a rich man but he owned a vast amount of property. It was a training facility for martial arts. Many people stayed on the grounds and trained. The entire area was located in a rather remote region, quite random to come across.

So he took her in with open arms. She was at a good ripe age with an open mind. He molded her, trained her into a fighter because he truly had nothing else to do. At night he home schooled her in the grand library in the main house. She was his student and never remembered that he was her grand father. She stayed and trained for five years until he passed away. The police took a hold of the grounds and Aleks was thrust out into an unknown world. She took a job as a nanny at a home of a young couple in San Marino The wife was constantly beaten by her husband and she never reported any of it. Aleks cleaned her wounds by night having been trained in such methods. It was late one night before they were to be hosting a rather important dinner party. The woman was ill and severely injured. She was talking in her sleep wishing that her marriage would end, that her husband would die. An intuition went off in Aleks’ head. The next night she stabbed her husband in the heart with a knife from the kitchen and thrust him over the railing of their balcony and into the swimming pool outside.

She left the home, the woman silently thankful but in mourning. Aleks cleaned up her act and so the blame was never pointed in her direction. The beatings were never revealed by the wife so no question was to be asked.

Aleks began a relentless career silently taking out men who targeted woman or harmed them in any way. She always left behind her a black rose on their chest. The police began to name her Briar Rose went they spoke during reports. She was 23 when the American government grabbed her in the middle of the night and dragged her over to their country. There, despite the fact that she didn’t want to be there, they forced her into signing a contract with them. She would be trained and owned by them, apart of an experimental project they were launching involving several other bounty hunters and assassins. She trained for another year before she was deployed. She traveled all over an assortment of places, primarily in Europe. She worked much like she had before but killed as a much higher status assassin. Briar Rose faded away and her newest alias rose to power. They called her Charlie, she was the third contracted killer owned by the American Government but their number one.

D0NT JUDG3 M3 B3C4US3--||:

Hard as a rock is the best way to describe her. After the incident with her mother, when Aleks basically gave up on her childhood, she lost a sense of true emotion. Today she just doesn't allow herself to feel emotional about a certain subject. In reality Aleks is trained to be this way because excess emotion causes fault. She is incredibly meticulous about certain things. She is ok with being dirty, as in mud and crap, but not disorganized. She needs organization to function. The people she works for can be the worst organized citizens in the world and she won't care because some people can function in clutter however she can't.

She is touchy about certain subjects but for her employers anger is fuel. When she does get pent up energy and emotion then she'll usually set up a punching bag. Aleks will never take out her anger on a client or during a kill. Her emotions and feelings are never to get in the way of a contract kill.

Aleks is headstrong and opinionated. She never hesitates to state what is on her mind. She works independently and is very subtle about her work. She doesn't boast about her job, she keeps everything under wraps. Her assassin occupation is not flaunted to people on the street. Any exchanges are subtle, should they ever occur in broad daylight. Her kills are, most times, long shot snipes in public or head on kills in enclosed locations. After any kill she'll leave behind a note 'from Charlie' symbolizing that she did the deed.

As an assassin would be she is a chameleon. She can blend into her surroundings and become a new character in the blink of an eye. Her face has had little to no plastic surgery alterations to make changing so quick and painless. By simply tying her hair back and wearing a darker blush her face and cheekbones become harsher and she suddenly looks old. By wearing her hair down she can pass off for a person as young as eighteen. She is incredibly at putting on the face of another persona and speaking in another dialect. She knows a wide variety of European languages and some oriental. Aleks mastered the accents of the languages long ago so speaking them and seeming like a native to the country is no issue. Although she may play a variety she never loses herself and who she is. She is proud to be herself.

Aleks fears the things that affected moments in her childhood and early twenties. She hasn't really gained any other fears afterwards because of her given occupation. She isn't supposed to be afraid of anything when really there are a few things out there that will make her uncomfortable.

    • Balloons
    • Sexual contact
    • Love

I F4LL F0R--||:

Aleks had a strong relationship at one point. Very strong. In fact, she fell in love with him by accident. He was a street racer named Ryan, a man she very much adored. Because she traveled and remained in foreign countries for long periods of time they didn’t have or spend a lot of time together. When Ryan started stealing with a couple of his friends they drifted apart. Eventually Aleks killed him to get into rhe underground group. Now she considers love a weakness to her and tries her best to not allow for such a thing to occur.

» Ultimate Treasure;;

Men. Even hearing the word makes her cringe. She doesn't trust them because every guy that she's been around in her life has been immature. A perfect guy is one that would trust in Raica and leave her alone instead of pursuing her. She does have friends who are guys but they've always treated her as more of a sister then as a girlfriend. This, you could say, is a good thing because being around a guy doesn't make her nervous and uneasy. She's most times laid back around men, easy to get to know but not on a very personal basis. Dating in the past has been a rocky situation because she doesn't put the time into a relationship like most people do. As her friends put it, Raica's already married, to sports.

» Wasting Away;;

A sports-holic is the best way to describe Raica. She is obsessed with being healthy and active. In short, it means that she exercises regularly and eats the best that she can. Time is often spent playing sports and some of them include hiking, swimming, running or even yoga. Not only does she spend her days training for volleyball but she plays on a soccer team for a house league outside of the school. She loves to be outdoors soaking up the fresh air. Rarely does she spend large amounts of time inside which is why she doesn’t like the rainy days.

Being a prepared person Raica does take the time to do things during those days when the skies open up and the rain pours down. Living on campus permits her to do a lot of things indoors as well as participate in a lot of athletic clinics. She takes part in a variety of clubs present at the university such as environmental concerns, a running club, a weight training group, and lastly she works with a lot of exchange students. Having been an exchange student herself she loves to help foreign students with their schoolwork and life as they adjust to how the United States work.

Her perfectionism is always apart of any activity that she partakes in. Whether it's an assignment for class or her participation level during an athletes clinic, she always strives to do her best. One might even say that Raica doesn't give herself enough credit for all of the work that she does.

In short Raica is a very involved person. She doesn't often have extreme amounts of time to spare. Wedging a person into her time as a relationship would prove awfully difficult.

» Petty Secrets;;

      → She snorts when she laughs really hard; genetically given

      → Allergic to penicillin; found it out when she had a visit to the doctor's office when she was twelve. She had a severe allergic reaction in the emergency room and was rushed into trauma. She doesn't trust doctors for this reason.

      → Holds grudges for insane amounts of time; personality

      → Speaks with an accent when she gets serious about something; A lasting impression of her time in England.

      → Is often late or extremely early; a fear in reality. Raica never wants to be late for an appointment or clinic so she'll most time show up earlier then most others.

      → Always needs to be organized; her stuff just, and quite simply, needs to be clean and in order. Raica has issues functioning in order or when she can't find something that belongs to her.

      → A perfectionist at heart; she doesn't give herself credit for the work she does or what she accomplishes. There's always been something in her head that has told her that she can do better.

» A Brief Introduction;; Russian. Athlete. Intelligent. Creative. Alone.

» Take a Look Inside;;

    Shakespeare once said Totus mundus agit histrionem which means in the English language two things. ‘All the World's a Stage’ or ‘All the world plays the actor’. In truth the only person that Raica has ever been is herself. A personality change or drastic mood swing has only affected her because of time and quite simply, all the s**t she’s had to deal with. An overprotective mother never let her do what she wanted. Sometimes she is rebellious. A brother who let her do whatever she wanted was always looking over her shoulder. Sometimes Raica can be conservative. The people who have popped in and out of Raica’s life like ghosts are the one’s who had shaped her into who she is. A unique athletic female who would jump off a bridge if someone told her not to. Being a university student Raica can become a crazy child. Parties and a little too much alcohol are the main causes of some of the bigger mistakes in her life. For instance, her tattoo. This habit of drinking is always somewhat peer pressure related. And despite the fact that she may drink Raica has never taken an illegal drug or consumed illegal amounts of substances. She takes an Advil for the pain of being an athlete and keeps going. This trait is a good thing because Raica at least knows when to say no to something.

    She’s very outgoing and not the shy type. Raica would never be the one afraid to ask a person for change. Most times she talks and rambles on about the craziest of things. People often think that she is talking to them when most times she’s talking to herself. Raica is kind and generous, willing to drop whatever she’s doing to help some one. At least, you might say, her mother had somewhat of a positive influence on her, because this is something that she gained from her.

    At this stage in her life Raica is still learning. In her past she hasn’t really felt consequences for her actions and just now is her world starting to deteriorate. The sayings “What goes around comes around” and “All good things come to an end” are quite possibly the best way to describe Raica’s life at the moment.

    Ties with her family have been severed the best that she can. Life on campus at the university is always full of drama. Most times the girls trust that Raica is the best person to vent out their emotions to. Reality check, Raica doesn't want to be the keeper of every one's secrets.

    On an ending note, trust is not something to be taken for granted if you earn it from Raica. It takes her quite a bit of time to open up to a person and let them into her life. Once you lose her trust it's pretty much gone for good. Sadly Raica doesn't believe very much in second chances. Too bad, so sad.

» Never Look Back;;

    Life was always a roller coaster for Raica, even when she was just a toddler. She was born in San Francisco with no father. When she was young her mom always explained to her that he had decided that he wasn’t meant to be a daddy. Her brother, who was four years older then herself, always played along with the story. They did well as a family with only a single mother and each of them worked hard to earn a share. They lived in an apartment on the coast close to the beach. The building was well kept by the tenants and they always had neighbours wondering how they were doing. When their mother was working her two jobs Raica always had her brother Cael around and together they always got along well.

    During her childhood she grew into the athlete that she is currently. It was found that she had an extreme passion for sports and so she spent most of her time at the beach with her brother fooling around. Whether it was soccer or volleyball it didn't matter. Any day that it wasn't raining they were out there, dressed for the weather of coarse, doing something. Neither of them liked to be cooped inside.

    Raica was never a strong academic when it came to school. She did the minimum that was expected of her and achieved straight B’s. It was always known by herself and her friends that she was not a numbers person but an athlete. During her time in the classroom she made quite a few friends because she was easy to get along with. Most of these friendships however didn't last because Raica spent so much time doing independent training or other extra curricular activities. In middle school she did experiment with dating but again, as always, the idea of a relationship was beyond her. Besides, she didn't have the time for it.

    When she was fourteen Raica made a life altering decision to go on a student exchange program to England. Her mother never liked the idea and did everything she could to prevent Raica from going. In the end it was her brother Cael who brought her to the airport and paid a portion of the cost. Her mother was devastated that her daughter had left her for England and the subject is still controversial. Raica lived with a family in England for one year before returning home. While she was there she studied hard. The people had been extremely welcoming to her and even had her own room set up. They knew already, from her application, that she was an athlete and so the eldest son in the family had decorated the room with at least twelve posters of pro-athletes. They had consisted of a family of 6, a mother, a father, one daughter and twin sons. For awhile Raica had dated Rhyan, the younger of the twins, but they couldn't hold it together. Being friends was just a better idea.

    Truly however, she had gone to England for the experience as an athlete and not for the culture. During her stay she gained valuable experience with coaches and sports legends. She attended a variety of sports clinics and was supported by money she brought in through a job at an athletic wear shop. Even upon leaving many people asked for her to stay in the program for another year but she couldn't knowing that it would crush her mother's heart to stay. As she had put it into her letters, another Christmas without you and I will surely die.

    She played on a variety of sports teams for her high school during that period but she was more into rep teams outside of the classroom. Her thoughts where always drifting from geography or math to an amazing play that some one had made at a previous game. When she was sixteen Raica really started to train hard for volleyball. It was her passion and what people knew her by. It was easy to assume that Raica would never give up sports in her life to be an academic. This assumption would always be true, Raica never wanted to be anything else but a pro-athlete. Though her days in High School were filled with drama it didn't compare to what went on at home. She had always had a rocky relationship with her mother when she was younger but their fighting and bickering escalated through the years to an intolerable screaming war.

    Upon leaving high school she accepted a scholarship to New York University. This was another decision that caused for an excruciating fight to erupt between herself and her mother. During the weeks of bickering and resentment Raica learned that her father was not the same as her brother’s and that he had been a one time encounter at a bar. Her mother described her as an accident and a b***h who didn’t listen. These where dark times for Raica as she took a lot of what her mother said to her personally. Who wouldn't? During this period of time Raica learned immense amounts of information about her origin and just where she came from. Cael had always known these facts but, due to their mother, never told anything to Raica. In a way he ended up caught in the middle of his mother and sister's battle.

    When she left San Francisco Raica took with her everything that she owned. Her heart told her to never go back there. The decision was because Raica didn’t want to deal with her mother anymore. She hasn’t seen her for almost four years and keeps in touch with only her brother. She holds a grudge against her parents to this very day. Trust for her and her family doesn't exist anymore.

    During her first year at the university she selected a four year course for English Literature. The decision had been made because she enjoyed writing thoroughly and always needed to have a back up plan just in case she endured a career ending injury. She moved off campus for her second and third years before squeezing her way into a dorm for her final year of schooling.

    Always One Foot On The Ground

    i hear my mind

    Je suis un accident; je suis une personne qui n'a été jamais censée pour exister.

    → She was born as an accident to her mother and father. She was conceived by a man who was married and a woman who was only there to entertain him. Born on Christmas Eve in Marseille France she was a child doomed to be left on the side of a road. After her mother had given birth she fled and left the baby on the docks in the port. Surely some one would pick her up and raise her? The woman wanted nothing to do with the child and so she left Noelle alone. She cried, like all babies would, out of hunger. After an hour a lonely fisherman finally saw what was creating the noise, a baby girl. It was Christmas Day and he named her Noelle when he picked her up into his arms but being a fisherman he couldn’t support a child so he brought her to an orphanage where his sister worked and asked that the baby be taken care of.

    → With luck and fortune Noelle survived her first year. The fisherman’s sister raised her as her own child instead of allowing for her to be an orphan. When she turned two a young count from Russia came to the orphanage. He declared that he wanted a daughter, one that was beautiful and well kept. The orphanage manager stripped the fisherman’s sister of Noelle and gave the baby to the count who then took her back to Moscow. She grew up living a high life being that her father lived as an aristocrat. She received what she wanted but never allowed for herself to be spoiled. Noelle grew up a kind and gentle child, one who was friendly and outgoing. At seven she was given her first violin and was taught by a private tutor every weekday for at least two hours. The lessons were gruelling but after three years she was capable of playing a beautiful song called ‘Soft Winds’. Noelle continued to play and at twelve began performing. But when she was fourteen tragedies occurred. Russia’s second revolution began and she was smuggled out of the country and back into her native home of France with her father. He explained to her where she came from, that she was a French orphan he had adopted. She left him then, losing everything she had to the looters. She took with her her precious violin and the clothes on her back and she never saw him again.

    → At fourteen she played to earn money. The more word spread about her talents the more the richer people of France asked for her to play for them in there homes. Instead of just paying her with the local currency they taught her the French language and gave her clothing. By the time she turned sixteen she was a self accomplished musician who travelled all of France to play for her people.

    → However her enjoyment of playing for others ended when she turned seventeen. She was playing for a Duke of France at a dinner party when one of the strings of her violin broke. The sound that filled the people’s ears was deafening and horrid. The owner of the home walked up to her and slapped her across the face telling her that she was no better then a homeless man on the streets with a guitar. She was thrown out and because of this event she never played before people ever again. Luckily because she had enough money she was capable of obtaining a job and paying rent for her apartment. At twenty she decided to stay within Paris France and call it her home.

    → It was Christmas Eve when she was walking home through Paris’ famous Tulip gardens she was encountered by a young man. His eyes were black and demonic but Noelle didn’t see them. As she tried to walk past him he grabbed her arm which caused for her to then drop her violin case. In a matter of seconds she fell victim to him as he mowed down into her neck like she was piece of pork. Noelle was left for dead in the park half bleeding to death on the sidewalk. The man had departed, his thirst having been quenched. She awoke in a local hospital surrounded by a flurry of confused nurses and doctors.

    → When her eyes opened they were completely black. Eruptions of screams were heard and Noelle didn’t understand until she hobbled went into the bathroom. She stared blankly at the reflection in the mirror seeing her face. Her once tanned skin was pale. Her deep chocolate hair was now almost white blond. Lastly her eyes; how they fascinated her so. She stared into the reflection for almost an hour. When the doctors entered the room later on they stared at her in utter disbelief. When they questioned her she told them that she could still see. When the evening fell they finally left her alone to sleep. She had been moved into a private room, her case on high alert. As the moon rose in the sky that night Noelle discovered her powers. She could become one with her shadow.

    → As time drew on she learned more about herself. Noelle then fled the hospital. She trained herself in the use of her powers in a small run down town outside of Paris. Not only did she manipulate her powers but she taught herself to become an acrobat and several fighting methods. Noelle trained to join Viktor’s regime. When she arrived in Paris she still had the body she did when she was twenty and yet five years had passed since then. When she joined The Divine she was loyal with them and her cause. Despite that she had been raised in Russia during her childhood she prided herself on being French. The city she had once adored had cursed her but also given her a new life. She swore to protect it and the things that she loved. She has been with The Divine since the beginning and found herself interested severely in coming to New York.

    to br3@K mY 0WN f@ll

    Je manipule les ombres comme une illusion d’optique.

    → Her powers have substantial potential when she uses them correctly otherwise she loses mass amounts of energy. Anything she can do is based off of shadows and darkness. She can become one with her shadow; it appears as if she fades right from view and sinks into the ground when she does this. The end result is a small patch of black on the ground, or wall. If she does this on a moving object, say an escalator, she’ll pass right underneath. In doing this she can get into rooms without the need of a key, all she needs is an object to be on and for another to slip her under. Noelle can take objects and people with her when she does this as well, it only takes more power.

    → The second part of her powers takes more energy. She can pass through walls, much like you think a ghost would. Noelle needs to become a shadow on the wall first before she’ll literally materialize through the wall and end up on the other side. She hasn’t tried taking a person with her yet because it takes a lot of effort for her to accomplish this alone. This power is easier to perform at night when she has the moon to feed off of for energy.

    → Obviously she is stronger at night but she can still use her powers during the day. She uses sources as her power, like electrical circuits or even people. She takes their energy and uses it herself. She can only accomplish this when she wants to and her state of mind is set right. Say she is taking energy from a light bulb. Noelle will touch the bulb and the light will flicker while her body takes it’s energy force. After she leaves it doesn’t take long for the light to come back on. When Noelle takes energy from people she takes it from their life force. If she ever wanted to she could kill a person this way but she hasn’t yet. The person she is taking energy from will feel tired and weak. If she takes enough energy from them they’ll fall asleep. If she continued from that point she would kill them making it a painless act.

    And By Protecting My Heart Truly

    La musique est ma vie, c’est qui je suis.

    → Music. Just say the word and her skin will tingle, the hairs will rise on her arms. To Noelle music is her passion and she prefers instrumental pieces. No, she does not like Beethoven or Bach but figures from more recent music such as Hans Zimmer (composer of pieces used in many popular films). Her favourite instrument is the violin and she plays in her spare time. The only person who will ever persuade her to stop playing is Viktor himself. She does not like to be disturbed while she plays and while she does so she admits that she hates an audience. Noelle doesn’t like to be judged so she’ll rarely play where people will see or hear her. But when she does play her violin she is gracious and her music is lively. To her it has meaning and she plays with her soul.

    J’ai peur de perdre moi-même

    → For Noelle she never wants to be anyone but herself. She has a personal drive in her inner being to always be herself and shine. Not only does she have a fear of losing herself but of losing her country, her pride. She lives to be French and to speak the language fluently and she will stop at nothing to kill the people who wish to do her or her culture harm. In a sense it is but a fear of losing everything she has again like she did when she was fourteen.

    → Alongside a fear of losing herself Noelle doesn’t like to me judged in a way that people will think negatively about her. She severely lacks self confidence and so it makes her feel horrid if another Divine member dislikes her.

    Noelle speaks fluent French and when speaking English has an accent. She does not speak Russian at all for she forced herself to forget it after returning to France. Noelle has always adored animals and fashion but she is not obsessed with her appearance. Attire and clothing must be comfortable but always good looking. She rarely wears makeup because she feels that she doesn’t need it.

    *Unlike after she was first bitten she can control when her eyes are completely black or normal.*

    Give a girl some credit
