((Whee, snippet. Cyril(what I decided to call my system on a random whim of inspiration. I also decided his OS-kun(Sys-kun?) would resemble Axl in at least one way because I'm a sad little fangirl) has been a little down in the dumps since last night, what with not being able to start up. It didn't have anything to do with the RAM upgrade(from 96 to 192), considering he booted up just fine after having the video card taken out. It's still in there now, it's just not being used because it's somehow the cause of the whole problem. Also, I'm posting this from a good friend's house because I also managed to almost completely render my Ethernet-to-USB adapter useless when sliding the tower back into place. ._.; Needless to say, I'm going to be out of the loop for a while.
As for the title, it's my pathetic attempt to describe what happens when I try to start up most of the time; It starts processing a little, then beeps twice(the 10)and eight more times in succession(the 1000), then just stops booting entirely(which is why the Power-On Self Test is interrupted). I have no idea what it means or what it could mean. If anyone has some insight into it they could share, I'd be eternally grateful!))
