Dear Diary,
Wow. That’s all I can say. I…I’m speechless (well, writeless….or something like that). Well, you probably want to know why this is. Yesterday, I couldn’t write. I’m sorry. I’ll tell you why in just a second. I must start at the beginning.
As soon as our ship landed, we went straight to the palace to meet my mother. She is sooo nice! Like Father said, when I first learned about her, her name is Cachel. She is beautiful too. She has brown hair, a little lower than the middle of her back, and navy blue eyes. She was wearing a pink gown. We of course, had to change too, but at least we got to pick the color of our gowns. I, of course, got violet, Istiria picked a light aqua colored one, and Istaria got a red one. They said they had never seen anything so fine. And indeed, it was cloth like I had never seen before either, so soft and beautiful!
But anyway, Mother told us many things about being a Stora, so many that I wouldn’t be able to recite it all here. But one thing that I will tell you is about our necklaces. They serve two purposes. Mother said that the first thing is that the hole will be filled with a stone to represent our element when we become Storas. It represents the element we control as Storas. On mine, the purple part, the actual rose (I found out the stone it is made of is called amethyst), will conserve my life. My life will actually feed off of this stone. If I were to take off my necklace, I would die. The second thing is that the stone that goes there will help me control my powers, so that I can’t harm anyone I don’t want to or something to that effect. I just thought that you should know that. Oh, and the thing that kept me from writing yesterday…now I’m a Stora!
My stone ended up being an emerald, and I my necklace is more beautiful than ever. I don’t feel any different, except for the fact that every once in a while I’ll feel a burst of energy come through my body and a flower will “miraculously” grow up out of no where. I guess I’ll just have to get used to controlling it better. And I’ve been working on “downloading” the images of different people, so that I can transform into them if there be a need.
Well, you're probably very confused now, so I’ll just give you some basic facts on Storas and Storius:
The S’eseer Solar System (SSS) consists of 12 planets, including Storius. Before humans came to explore in 3007 (huh? you’re saying; you’ll see), only elves, dragons, faeries, and dwarves lived there. Then the humans came, and created the procedure with the help of the elves, dragons, and faeries (the dwarves wanted nothing to do with humans). In the process of making it, though, all the human inhabitants of the SSS were accidentally transported back in time to way before they started keeping track of time, something B.C. (see? now you get it!). Because they could not figure out how to get back to 3007, they settled there. Anyway, because elves, dragons, and faeries helped to make the procedure, the humans who did it got some of their traits. It gave them the element controlling powers of faeries (mine is nature of course), the longevity of elves and also some physical features of them (pointed ears, slanted eyes, etc.), and the ability to become dragon riders. As and added bonus it gave them some other abilities that the elves, dragons, and faeries didn’t have including the ability to teleport themselves, other humans, and inanimate objects to other places; the ability to change shape, becoming plants, animals, other humans, or inanimate objects (but the people need to be “downloaded” into your brain; that’s what I said I was working on when I wrote that entry); and also the ability to time travel, among other things, all with just the snap of a finger. But even now that they had time traveling abilities, the explorers decided to stay where (or should I say when) they were. The faeries also gave the humans, well, Storas, their necklace technology, because it was discovered that it was needed.
I was born around 5,000 years later during a war. The war (like Father sort of explained) was because the people of Vibbons wanted control of the solar system. During this, Mother had Zarian. When he became old enough to fend for himself, he decided to join Vibbons’ side. When he became a Stora, his element was darkness, and he became the King of Vibbons. A little over 60 years after Zarian was born, my sisters and I were born, Zarian disappeared, and for some reason my real father went into seclusion. He and Zarian were really close, and when he became evil, I guess it was too much. I still haven’t seen him. In fact, no one really has since what happened to Zarian, except Mother. That’s how she had two more children 60 years after I was born, twin girls named Toria and Loria. The war was, and still is, temporarily suspended. We are hoping the peace will last, but we know that soon Zarian will come out of hiding, and that’s why my sisters and I need to get our Stora training as soon as possible.

Istoria
