Twas on a night when the moon shone bright that i met a lady fair
Whom asked me oh so frankly if I had some love to spare
I sighed and frowned as i looked down into her pretty eyes
For though i'd love to love her frankly I could tell no lies
"my dear" I said" Im sorry but you see I am fresh out"
"For if I had but just one drop it would be yours no doubt"
"But as it is all that i had i've given to another"
"Who in the end did leave me for her prefered former lover"
"So now you see I can not give you what I do not have"
"Tis best you find another with whom you can love and laugh"
Yet she just smiled, and said to me" Sir honesty is rare"
"And theres no need for worry here for I have love to spare"
