Celsie's Journal
Celsie has a life, and here it is, for friends or visitors to read.
Day of Improvements
Now. Despite the fact homework was grossly left undone. That I struggled for an hour with ADEPT and still got nothing done(yes, it took me that long to log in. Dad's lucky the computer's still functional), and I disconnected my floppy drive, then didn't bother disconnecting my hard drive as intended. But! Despite all the stuff that didn't happen, some very, very, important things did.
Last night at church(yes, I went to church on Saturday, ooh and ahh yourselves to death, I didn't go today and felt bad for it), the pastor actually got to me about something deep. I wasn't falling on the floor weeping like I do sometimes, though there was a guy who actually prostrated himself during worship, but the sermon point got to me. He had several. Kinda like a porcupine, really. But the point of the point was that you can't expect guidance in one area when you're still rebelling in another. And that bugs me, because He's been bugging me about an area. What area? We haven't even started on my net addiction. That's going to be years long therapy session with a really strong church behind me. We're starting with smaller manners.
My love of money, namely. I gave mother fifteen dollars, keeping two for lunch tomorrow. I've determined I'm going to starve, and return any extra money she gives me to her purse when she drops Nate off at school in the morning. Yeay point one.
Two? My grudges are starting to drop. Not entirely, mind you, but they're starting. I'm not opening my buddy list to anyone other than the fifteen currently on it, but we're starting. Case in point: Haze has Odin's old font style and color. I have to let go of that symbolism now. He was online today, I checked. Said nothing, he wasn't there anyways. But whatever.
Yeay point three: my rash is getting better. The power of prayer and cortizone. If you didn't know about, hear about, or were forced to look at my bubbling skin, trust me, you don't want the writer in me to tell you. Let's just say adhesive and heat don't get along well with me. We're not sure which it is, but it doesn't like me and I don't like it.
Yeay point four, prolly the largest after number one(don't ask why two isn't huge, prolly cuz it isn't complete yet), I have two new computers. Well, a brain and a laptop. But still. NaNo prepared I now am. The things freaking tiny, both in size and in hard drive space(out of one gig i have like 200 megs), and weighs way too much. It's a dell, and I'm tempted to name it Sakuri.

Anyways. I'm going to start typing stuff up on it. Like all my kwd files, my untyped stories, and....stuff. Yeah. It has a floppy drive I'm really hoping is functional, because I feel it'll crash if I connect it to the net. And believe me, that's precisely the reason I'm borrowing it. No net equals little problem. Not no problem, but little problem.

And that's basically my day. Oh, and I might do two homestays while in Japan. One with Satomi, then one with one of Mika's students. This is based on if I can manage or delude myself into thinking I can manage to get from Saitama to Osaka. By myself. We shall see. Speaking of which, I need to email her.
