i feel so sad.
yet happy at the same time.
i live now only in dreams of the past, i am dead to the present.
for the present is lonely and spiteful, and the past is warm and inviting.
the present is new, unknown, and feared,
the past is steady, unchanging.
such is life, so shall it always be.
