I have art block every day :'( but that doesnt have to mean you cant work at your art. I can never rely on a muse or waiting on motivation because they arent consistant. I found you have to treat your art as if it were your job, because in a way it is! And how ideal would it be if you could actually make a living off your creative process?
It's helpful to have a note above your art desk or on your door - wherever you do your work so you'll see it regularily - and write on it your End Goal, your stepping stone goals that will get you to your end goal, and lastly your most recent project -what you'll focus on every day.
example: (End Goal/ selling paintings consistantly at a livable wage) (stepping stone goals/ finish 10 pieces - set up etsy account - ask cafes to show my paintings and get noticed locally - learn something new every week) (current project/ Moon Temple series, paint for minimum 15minutes a day)
I think of my motivation like a computer thats been powered down, If I waited for it to boot up on its own Id be waiting for years - you have to sit down and press the power button and work on your art for a few minutes, only then can you get into the flow and finish something.
