So today, my sister let her kids stay at our house for the night. My niece, Gracie, is 4 years old. And as for my nephew, he's 6 months old. My mom doesn't really trust me around little babies, even though I'm a babysitter >>; But anyways, I hung around Gracie most of the day. She was pretty interested in our Turtle for whatever reason. Every time we were away from the turtle, she would ask if we could go see it. So after multiple trips to see the turtle, I finally decided I would take her to the park downtown. They had Santa Clause there, but she was too shy to sit on his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. I tried to convince her to, but she wouldn't go for it. Then after we came back to the house, Gracie was allowed to open her Christmas present. A Dora the explorer castle, about the size of a German Shepard. She got a kick out of ripping off the wrapping paper. We let her open up her brothers present, and her parents presents too. That's when she grabbed my present, and ripped it open twisted Inside, was a Motorola V360 cell phone. I hugged that kid forever, thanking her for accidentally unwrapping it. Bwahaha. Every time I took Gracie somewhere, she could not stop asking me questions. When I gave her answers, she would spit back a "Why?" until I finally had to say "I don't know why." And her response..was another "Why?" She also kept saying, "Where's the popcorn?" whenever we sat down to watch T.V. Or "Isn't that mine?" if I ate a cookie or anything. When I explained to her that she finished her cookie, she shot back with another "Why?" You would think that would get pretty annoying, but I got a kick out of it. It was really cute though, when my 18-year brother, visiting from college, walked down the stairs and Gracie proudly said "I'm Gracie." Now Cash had me laughing all day. When he was in his play pin I would sneak up and say "CHA-CHINGGG CASH!" and he would just burst into cute little baby giggles. When I put in a movie for Gracie and Cash to watch, Cash would just blankly stare at the screen. I could not get him to look away from the darn T.V! I tried everything to get him to look at me. I tried making noises and faces and waving my arms in every direction. When he did glance at me, it was only for a moment, then he was back focused onto the T.V. Even when the GreenBay packer game was on, he would just stare off. [If you haven't noticed, our family is a big packer family. Notice the Packer Jersey Cash is wearing?]
