School ended and everyone knew hat that meant. Summer '09. Many of us were crying, hugging,taking pictures and wishing everyone luck in high school. Most of the students carried gifts from friends and other carried left over food from homeroom end of the year parties. I waited for my ride to pick me up, which won't be until later on. Kotarou stood by me and for while, it was silent. I wanted to get a conversation going on. But how?
"So, what are you doing for summer?"I asked him.
He shrugs. "Nothing much.You?"
"Same. Just going to Taiwan for a couple days." I tell him. I sure was excited for the trip but now that I think about it, I was truly going to miss him. Which then reminded me.
I reach into my basket of food and gifts and bring out a blue box bag with paper tissues sticking out. "Here, I lost a bet with Candi about who'll gradate first. She won." I said.
"Thanks." He said as he took the bag and placed into his plastic bag of food ^^;
Which then reminded me that Kimi wanted to go to the mall after school and she invited me to come along. She wanted to see a movie wit me and a couple other people.
I turned to face Kotarou with a smile. "We're going to see a movie today, with Kimi and a couple other people. Why don't you come along?" I ask, knowing that he'll say no.
He thinks for a while. "Is Jenny going?"
"Nopes."
He thinks some more. "Okay, I'll ask my parents if I can go." And that's what shocked me. Will Kimi be mad?

And it turned out that he could. We met up at the mall, Kimi, Brandy and Annie where already there by starbucks drinking coffee.
"You have some nerve dressing like that to the mall." Brandy says.
"I dress like this when I go to school . . . ?" I say confused.
She chuckles and rolls her eyes, sipping instead, jamba juice.
"Oh! That reminds me, I brought Kotarou to come along, er, is that okay?"
"You what?!" Kimi exclaims.
"I'm sorry! I thought he'd say no and I was already to far into the conversation. Are you mad at me?"
Kimi shakes her head. "No. I'm mad at Kotarou for saying yes."
"Why, what did she do?" Brandy asked, who clearly wasn't listening.
"She brought over Kotarou." Kimi says.
"And so? Yuki and Kotarou are in love."
"BRANDY!??" the rest is full of laughter.
We walk over to the theater and Kotarou meets up with us later on. We're still deciding what to watch: My life in ruins, Night at the museum, Terminator, or Ghost of girlfriends past. It was immediate that My life in ruins was out [ew, love story] Terminator was out [Sounded boring] and ghost of girlfriends past was way out. Which left us with Night at the museum. So we buy the tickets and find our seats. Annie, then Kimi, then Brandy, then Kotarou and then me. For the first 5 minutes of the movie, I felt tired [because we were walking around the mall so much before the movie started]. He offered his shoulder, which I took out of confusion. This didn't seem like him at all. But then he told me not to mumble if I took a nap. Now that was Kotarou.
Throughout the movie, I didn't take a nap. I watched the movie with him, my head still resting on his shoulder. He'd occasionally rest his head on my own, which made my heart go doki doki. I didn't know why he was doing this to me, was it because he was being nice? I'm not sure.
More into the movie [which I wasn't understanding now because I was figuring out Kotarou's situation] I asked him if e was feeling uncomfortable. He told me no. A little more after that, he tells me to hold on a moment. He shifts his body a little and right when I didn't expect it. He places his arm around my shoulder, bringing me closer to his body. Nervous, VERY NERVOUS. Not sure why he'd do that and I was expecting for him to remove it but it stayed there. What the hell is going on?!
"Are you okay?" He asked me.
I nod my head. "Yeah, I-I'm fine." I say. "Pinch my cheek." I tell him.
"What?"
"Just pinch it, please?"
He pinches it, which kind of hurts. So I wasn't dreaming?! This was all true?! I felt like screaming!
Now there was a scene with Amelia Earhart and some guy named Larry? It was this kissing scene which Kind of grossed me out because kissing scenes grossed me out. Then I felt something fall on my head and I thought Kotarou had droppped something on my head.
"What did you just do?" I ask him witha little bit of edge to my voice.
"Nothing." He says nonchalantly.
"What did you do, Kotarou?"
Silence. "I kissed your head."
More silence [not counting the movie xd ] Leaving me sort of shocked, I looked down for a while as he brings me closer to him.
"Are you okay?"
"Uh, Yeah. I'm fine." I tell him. Was I really fine?
"Okay, er, Yuki?"
"Mmmm Hmmm?" I ask, afraid to open my mouth.
"Can I kiss you?"
"What?" Didn't he just kiss me on my head?! What the hell?
"Is it okay if I Kiss you?" He asks again.
I'm biting my lip, what did he mean? "D-Do whatever you want." I tell him nervously.
"Okay, but can I kiss you? Do you want me to?"
Nervously shaking I tried to talk. Cheek kiss? Yes. It had to be. He'd kiss my cheek before? It's no big deal. Besides, he would never do an actual first kiss with me. No. Not my first kiss. I want it to be with someone I really care about. But, don't I really care about Kotarou-*ge?
"Yeah. Go ahead." I tell him, feeling a little less nervous. Cheek kiss, right?
But I was wrong.
As I wait for that little peck, it doesn't come. I noticed that he was staring at me for a little while and when I caught his gaze . . . .
"Kotarou . . . . . "
He leans in, and not knowing what the hell was going on, He gives it to me.
My first kiss.
We let go, and can seriously feel my heat going doki doki in my chest, supper had. So hard that it might burst out.
I look down again. and he asks if I'm okay.
We continue watching the movie Which I didn't really care about anymore. xd I wrap my arms around his waist and he occasionally does the whole kissing thing again. I did that . . . .but only once. And then he tells me something I really REALLY wasn't expecting.
"Yuki,"
"Yeah?"
"I like you." He says calmly. "Do you like me back?
And even after the kissing he doesn't stop! But after hearing the three closes words to I love you, I'm dead speechless. I know I've kind of liked Kotarou for a long time now but never would I have heard saying them and asking me if I liked him back?!!!!
Still speechless, I nod my head, snuggling into his chest.
"Yuki, do you?" He asks again. "Do you think you can say something?"
I open my mouth. "Kotarou, I do. I always had and I always will."
He smiles again, and replays the first kiss.
So now I ask the big question. "Kotarou-ge, this is only a suggestion, but . . . . do you . . . I mean, would you give us another try? Like, go out again?"
It's silent for a while between us.
"I'll think about it." He says. "Right now, Friends with benefits is okay with you right?"
"Er, yeah. But I'll be leaving for Taiwan in two days"
"Oh." He says. "Okay. Maybe I'll tell you when you come back."
And then the movie ends. We unravel from our cuddling and he asks me how my nap was. The ********? s he playing with my emotions?
"Baka! I wasn't sleeping! What you told me, was it all true?" I asked him.
I see him turning red, which is sort of rare for him ad can't help but smile.
"Yeah, bu don't tell anyone. Not even Kimi, Brandy or Annie."
"Can I tell Candi? She's really into this stuff."
"Your penpal? Yeah, go. Just don't tell anyone els."
"But what about Brandy them. What if they saw?"
"Just tell them not to tell anyone, okay? I have to go home now."
"Okay, *Jian Jian."
"Uhhh, okay. I have no Idea what you said but seeya."
I roll my eyes at him and walk away. Not sure if today was a dream or was actualy reality But I do know one thing .. .. I still like the jinx who mad me smile ^^ <-made nooo sense xD

*Ge - I think my mandarin is wrong but I think it means brother
*Jian Jian - Zai Jian means good bye so without the zai it's just jian 2x, like, bye bye
