what goes on in my crazy mind
This is basically where i put all my poems
Paradise
Paradise

The dreary sun beams down on a desolate land
Dust and rocks, in which shade and water are but dreams
There sat a mannequin, among the dry cracked mud
A sign of life that once was, forever ago
Wooden eyes gaze, always to the horizon
An empty drawer, in place of a heart
Stiff joints, moving, nevermore
A blue moon rises, to gloat victory over the sun
The night sky filled with many a star, burning bright
Vision blurring, lonely eyes creak to a shut
Weary eyes open with a snap, a blinding light
The dreary sun beams down on a desolate land
Dust and rocks, in which shade and water are but dreams
There sat a mannequin, among the dry cracked mud
A look of pure joy and relief etched in a face of wood
For there, knelt above the mannequin, was a girl
With eyes more striking than any star seen by the mannequin
The drawer, glowing softly, empty no more
Shade became no longer an illusion
As dark clouds filled a once empty sky
Rain drops fell, pit, pat, pit, on a dry wooden body
Joints moved as the girl grasped a pair of rough hands
Life returning, a tear of bliss, unseen in the rainfall
A shaky mannequin rose, all but slipping in the mud
There the two danced, rain pouring down with a pit, pat, pit
A desolate land… Now Paradise
