This painting was inspired by a quote by Aristotle, "Fear is pain arising from the anticipation of evil," It represents our light and dark sides, kind of like the angel and demon on either shoulder type of thing. The demon on the right side looks pleasant and is looking in the direction of the angel who is obviously in pain. Acrylic on canvas. '08.
