- I like your use of negative and positive space, but you rely too much on middle values. When shading your darkest areas need to be much darker. You should consider using a higher grade of paper too. If people continue to use note paper then I will continue to score low. It is a good early attempt, but leaves a lot of room for improvement. On a final note, you misspelled pretty. 1/5
