- First, the legs should definitely have some space between them, even if they are closed. Look in the mirror, notice the gaps around your knees, thighs, and above your ankles. They might look a little awkward in your art at first, but try it out, it will get easier as you practice. Second, the upper arm should be bigger than the lower arm, both in length and width, and the elbow (with arms pressed against sides) should fit right into her curves. Make he
