No, you don't have to use different kinds of pencils. It's just easier to because it requires less effort to try and control the amount of strength you use to shade. You could just use a regular HB pencil and still get the same results if you are skilled enough to. - Report As Spam

- wait... you have to use DIFFERENT pencils for certin parts!? I never knew... No wanda my shadings sucked...
