- Description: Taken a couple of years ago, was out riding around when i came up on a storm that was moving out ofthe area slow enough that you could park and watch it. It put on a great show, i was able to get 4 usable shots, and one i used for state fair, but i didnt place. Oh well, maybe next time :op

- Lol, that is ok. I have done some work with my digi getting it to where i would use it for night shots and hopefully lightning. I had to play with the settings a bit. Unfortunatly, for the shutter time i use, it eats up a battery quick, so for a good storm shoot I will probably need 2 fully charged, maybe 3 for a full night of storm chasing :p But hopefully i can catch a good storm here soon and get more on the site.

- Nice shot. For the next big lightning show, may I suggest a slower shutter speed? It may help in catching maybe 2 or even 3 lightning bolts in one shot and it may look awesome, or it could look like crap, who know's until you shoot it? Also, maybe even a really fast shutter speed to capture the lightning in mid strike before it even touches the ground? And I just realized that you did use a slow shutter speed to get all the bolts like that... Don't mind me, running on 4 hours of sleep...
