- It looks like something you can pull right out of a fairytale. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I don't think it looks too dark at all, if you've ever scene Fantasia, this reminds me of how the Goddess of the Night swept over the skies and turned it dark, and if it's my imagination or not the clouds just faintly take on the shape of a woman's body. Stunning...

- Actually I like the dark on the left...it shows the contrast between night and sunrise. Very good picture. And what a beautiful spot. I would like to see this in RL.

k.. i should probably comment on the colours (thanks for all the comments so far!) 'cause deathpoet, i agree.. the left went too black, but it does *kinda* give a night / day effect, which was cool. originally it looked a lot brighter, but a lot worse.. i had to change brightness 'n such in each picture so they'd blend together better. i can still see the seams, but this is just how it turned out.

- Gabriola Island is one of the prettiest places on earth. Had a chance to stay there for a couple of weeks ... I miss it! Your photo is amazing ... serene, peaceful and yet vibrant and intense. Thanks so much for sharing it with us, and for bringing back memories! 8/5 (if I could! lol)
