Getting an "emotional" shot isnt about you feeling emotion while taking the picture, its about taking a picture that will in turn inspire emotion in the viewer, this is achieved through a combination of color, composition, medium, and materials.

- As for the picture, the concept could be cool, but you went about it all in the wrong way. The lighting of, course, but the first thing I really noticed was that the violin is aligned up and down, centered in the shot. That is an unpleasant asset, try taking more "organic" pictures, candids if you will, rather than arranging everything. And second, the bedsheet is very boring, and accentuates the angle of the shot in all the wrong ways.
