Void
A steep tunnel to heaven
The dark accompanies my travel
Cold and damp, rough stone lies
Beneath my feet, about to crumble.
Far ahead, an emerging light
Pushes through the blackness.
Have I come to the end of struggle?
I reach out towards it,
But there is nothing to hold onto.
Reaching towards an imaginary paradise,
I fall
Into a vacuum of nothingness.

- Title: Void
- Artist: Charles Hughes
- Description: This is one of my favorite poems that I've written thus far. The meaning of this piece is that there is no true perfect place(not even heaven) and that it's just a figment of the human mind to look forward to during the hard times. I know a lot of people don't agree with me, but please don't post any rude comments. It's just a poem.
