Jiraiya became a father figure to Naruto. (After all preconcieved notions that Jiraiya was just a perverted old sage were eliminated) Jiraiya's teamates were Orochimaru and Tsunade and his sensei was the Sandaime Hokage. Jiraiya taught Minato Namikaze. Jiraiya writes the Ichi Ichi Tactics books. Sadly, Jiraiya was killed by Pain of Akatsuki. His last message was
