Raikou is the legendary dog of the electric element. It originated in the Johto region (Gold/Silver/Crystal versions) as one of the first "roaming" legendaries.
It wields the ability to fire thunderbolts at will from the thunderclouds it carries.
For clarification--the sword is to represent the tail. And for further clarification--I am not a Pokemon freak. I enjoy the games, mostly, but am not obsessive. - Date: 09/07/2009

Absolutely and totally perfect. I can't believe a Raikou cosplay could be done any better, or Gaia has to make a Raikou suit or something.
