Naruto Manga Chapter 499.
In his inner struggle with Kyuubi, Naruto was successfully able to separate Kyuubi from his chakra and imprisoned it within a new seal. Now having direct access to Nine Tails Chakra without interacting with it's will, gains a chakra shroud that resembles that of the Rikudo Sennin (Sage of Six Paths). With complete control over Kyuubi's power Naruto's new form is given the fan name Rikudo Naruto.

Honestly, the people who say THIS particular cosplay is 'overdone' are pretty much just jumping on the bandwagon to gain some e-fam.
Which is pretty lame.

Love how people are saying Naruto is unoriginal in Cosplay Arena when there is around an equal number of Kingdom Hearts, Bleach and Legend of Zelda winners for this year and about twice as many Pokemon winners in the Cosplay Arena.
By the way, I would have voted a 5 out of 5 if I found this in the Arena before the week ended. - Report As Spam
