Naruto Shippuden takes place 2 1/2 years after Naruto leaves to train with Jiraiya. Upon his return, Naruto finds out that everyone has surpassed him in rank, and he's fallen behind. - OMG this is tottal epic-ness! Dont talk trash about him not having his headband, in shippuden Naruto's head band is long like the item he's wearing. This Naruto is the bomb digity!!!!
