After Link had paid for the rapirs of the broken bridge in western Hyrule and bassicaly bought the shop that sold things for outrageous prices, he was able to afford the Magical Armor. None was able to defeat him in this armor, and Link had no fear. The downside? Link needed a lot of money to use the armor efectively; if he had no rupees, Link would only slow down, and be very vunerable.
By the by, I know he doesn't have the gloves, the wouldn't go with the armor. - Date: 12/07/2008
