I spent roughly two weeks piecing together the various parts of this cosplay avi.
I checked every brown shoe Gaia has against the reference picture. Complex shirt matches the texture best of the shirts available, but there are some pixels that show up outside his coat due to sizing issues. It's a fire whip, but there are only two poses where it isn't actually on fire.
Why is the avatar you dress, and the one everyone else sees mirrored? My avi looks better on my profile, facing the other way. - Date: 08/28/2010

...the two zoot suit items were the only ones that looked anything like Indy. Besides those two items, I have no other sets equipped.
I've seen plenty of feedback on adding 'flair' to a cosplay, and most of it isn't good. Otherwise I'm sure I could have added some stuff to him. Thank you for your feedback though, and I will try to do better next time. - Report As Spam

The color of the eyes is precisely spot on, and the shape has just been my Gaian eyes for the three years that I've been here. The mouth is supposed to match that half smile he always seems to have.
I did decide not to wear the watch I've had for nearly 2 and a half years, because it didn't think it went with his character. I don't like using sets either, but the two zoo - Report As Spam

You're avatar is decent but there is a big problem when it comes to cosplayinng something simple like Indian Jones; there is lots of room for error and you have to make judgment calls on when to embellish and when to stick to exact photo copy. try to avoid using items from the same set, add some some in-character flair, be willing to accept changes in somethings, and change the expression. It just seems odd, since Indie isn't a wide-eyed boy.

- Yeah sorry about that Zhaff. I realize now that he should have a different hat, different eyes, and a better over-shirt. It would also be nicer if there was a pose for wrapping the whip around his shoulders. Sorry, I guess this avatar wasn't ready for the arenas after all. wink
