- Description: Otto Octavius became was a nuclear physicist. He designed a set of advanced mechanical arms controlled via brain to assist him with his research. During a radiation leak that ended in an explosion, the apparatusfused to Otto's body. It was later revealed that the radiation had mutated his brain so that he could control the movement of the arms using his thoughts alone. The explosion had also affected his mental stability changing him from a scientist to a criminal.
