Being a result of Project G that Dr. Gast, Dr. Crescent, and Dr. Hojo organized in ShinRa,he has a black wing that protrudes from the left shoulder.
Apart from his impressive skills in swordsplay,he also has the ability to manipulate fire to his advantage in battle,with devastating results. He also often quotes from his favourite poem,LOVELESS.

I remember my friend let me try and fight Genesis, because she was having troubles beat him. I beat him on my first try. |D Apparently she was like "jhvher WTF!? D: NO!" and started over. =u=;
