Kaito is a Vocaloid, a voice program developed by Yamaha.
Kaito was the first Japanese vocaloid to be made along with it's female counterpart Meiko.
This program sold 300 copies, during the year of 2006, which was considered the failure.
However, after Miku came out, Kaits was also able to mark 1419 sales of copies it's self at NicoNico Douga, a Japanese youtube-like video uploading site where vocaloid boom came in after Hatsune Miku was introduced. - Date: 01/08/2009

1st was Meiko, Then Kaito, Then Miku, I think. Miku does say 01 but theres a CV before it..so there should be a difference.

Miku was born into the world in 2006. Kaito was too, (or '05, I forgot) but he was older. He was the first vocaloid then came out Meiko, then Miku, Len, Rin.... - Report As Spam
