The Stalfos is a skeletal knight that resides in dungeons, and the only enemy to appear in every Zelda game to date. However, it has evolved over the years - it looks more intimidating, requires more than just a simple sword thrust to defeat, and is capable of blocking attacks and leaping around.
The keys on its belt are a nod to the original NES game, where you would often have to kill one of these to get the key hidden inside its chest. - Date: 08/28/2009

- In the first dungeon, the Stalfos carry keys inside of them :3 Unfortunately, there was no way to do this on Gaia, so I improvised ^^;
