He acts very naive, but he’s WAY smarter than anyone (xcept Kurotan) thinks. His name is really Yuui. He was born a twin, his brother being Fai. Twins were bad omens in Celes, so they were placed in a tower of sinners based on the thought that the country would prosper if they were miserable. Eventually Fei Wang Reed strikes a deal that if one died he'd rescue the other. Fai chooses to save Yuui, so he takes on the name Fai in his brother's memory.

- WHAT is so great about the damn frostbite blade? EXPENSIVE doesnt mean BETTER. If you would SEE how it looks on, you would understand. the frostbite blade looks even LESS like the real staff than this does.
