Naota is a 12 year old boy that has "The right kind of head for a N.O. Channel". He tries his best to act mature and nonchalant as much as possible. In the beginning he dislikes Haruko, but towards the end he admits his love for her, taking her in a passionate embrace and planting a kiss on her.
