- Description: In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Zelda takes the role as one of the Seven Maidens who sealed Ganon away during the Imprisoning War. At the start of the game, Zelda is being held captive by Agahnim, who intended to sacrifice her along with the other six Maidens in order to break the seal between Light and Dark, and in doing so, free Agahnim's alter ego, Ganon. Shortly after Link rescues Zelda, she is kidnapped again by Agahnim, and isn't seen again until the start of the final dungeon.
