- Description: Tsubame is a young waitress working at the Akabeko. Her family's former position as vassals to a higher class of samurai is used against her to persuade her to help them steal from the owners of the restaurant. In the end, Yahiko saves the day and chastises her not to be so weak-willed. She is a very shy character. Personality-wise, Watsuki only planned her as a character to push Yahiko into the spotlight for a story. Physically, she is based loosely on Sailor Saturn.
