In one scene in The Godfather, Hollywood producer Jack Woltz refuses to cast actor Johnny Fontaine in his latest movie, so he goes to the Corleone family to persuade him to cast him. As a little "extra motivation", they put the severed head of Woltz's prized horse in his bed. Here's a disturbing movie fact for you, the horse head used in that scene was a real severed horse head.
