Description:
This outfit is based off, and anime I have watched a couple of times now by the name of "Revolutionary Girl Utena" and I've dressed up as the main character "Utena".
I tried. - Date: 04/07/2016

- Ok I'm going to post an updated Utena, hopefully it might look better.

- I know you used gold shop shoes, and I'm going to be honest here, but I hate them. They don't really go with the outfit (not that Utena's actual shoes and socks did). The hair doesn't seem to be doing it. I would suggest Rosy Scythe for the hair, as it has some good layering and bangs, but there's probably better ones out there. Nice job, though.

I think it's a bit unoriginal to use two items from the set, and the crown doesn't really work. The hair doesn't make sense, it should cut off before the darker parts since Utena's hair isn't that long.
That and she doesn't wear boots, but shoes and long socks. - Report As Spam

- @Lull of Luv - Thank you! I'm glad you like it! Now that I think of it I'm not quite sure she ever wore a crown, but in the silhouette stories I remember there being some sort of crow

There are some good points in both comments:
@Jordang It is true that Utena did show more of a masculine side, but I was trying to find a look that symbolised both. Even though she is masculine, she is still obviously a woman, and as @Lull of Luv said "her femininity was highlighted as acrusial aspect of the show"

- I somewhat disagree with the previous comment. Utena definitely possesses many masculine qualities, but there are a several points where her femininity is highlighted as a crucial aspect of the show. My only critique of this is the crown, as I don't really remember her wearing one at all? But overall good job 5/5!

- I love shojo kakumei utena, but this isnt very accurate to her. Pretty, but utena didnt really have a "sweet" look about her. She's more determined and kinda rugged, or rather...edgy?? Idk. But this doesnt give me an utena vibe. Sorry. 2/5
