Ayano was a cheerful girl and leader of the Mekakushi-Dan. She cares deeply for her family and wants everybody to be happy. She was a close friend of Shintaro Kisaragi in school and may have harbored feelings for him. Ayano eventually commits suicide in order to enter the Heat Haze.
