Poor, poor Dragostea Din Tei. If not for the evil
that is Numa Numa, it might stand a chance at
being popular on its own. But no. Everyone calls
it the Numa Numa song. Not Dragostea din tei.
Which, coincidentally, means 'Love from the Linden
Trees'. It was written and performed by the
Romanian band Haiducci (The Outlaws).
Hence the
line in the song: "Alot? Salut? Sulbien unt
haiduc?" (Hello? [On a telephone] Yes? I'm an
