The Phoenix, a red and gold songbird, the right hand of Ra.
One day as the great bird flew with the seting of the sun, it fell to the ground. It made a nest of cinnamon twigs and burned, leaving only ashes.
But the next day as the sun was rising a new Phoenix rises from the ashes, then flying in the clear blue sky. - Date: 03/18/2007
