Description:
There was a doll with a beak,
Modeled after human physique,
Embedded with lustrous sapphires,
Sprinkled with shining 24-carat gold,
Hand-painted to the doll-maker's liking,
Garbed in Oriental velvet and bright paints.
Despite its glamour, there was no fix for blanks.
In addition to a shattered crown and cheek bruise,
Chipped off color from the thigh revealed
Cracked, gray porcelain underneath.
Firenze was broken and yet...
An eyeful Gem.
